Share Videos from Windows Phone “Video” Folder with Kirik Video Share
Windows Phone is pretty strict when it comes to giving access to media folders and even office files. As an example, there is no way to share video from your videos folder ( Music + Videos App) but can be done from your camera roll. Odd reasons but they do exist and there is no API for that.

However when Nokia’s YouTube Uploader launched, it seems there is a way out and guys who built SD File viewer for Windows Phone has now built a Video Share App–Kirik Video Share–which allows you to share videos from your Video folder in Windows Phone over Bluetooth, Email or Social Networks like Twitter and Facebook.
Video Demo:
Here is how it works:
Due to limitation in the OS, this app is not able to pickup the video files on its own nor it has an inbuilt browser to display the list. That said, the process becomes a bit manual where you should know the file name to share files from the Video Folder.
Rename Videos: Since the videos most of the time have random names, the first step is to rename the videos such that you can remember the name. While doing it also make sure to replace the space with hyphens. Since this is not possible from the phone, you need to connect to PC and rename it.

Sharing Videos: The app looks for a path to pickup video from the video folder. So if you have videos in Video folder and name of the video is WPXBOX.MP4, the full path will be “video\wpxbox.mp4”. Cases don’t matter.

If you wish to share the app over Bluetooth or NFC, make sure to turn them on first.
Type in Correct File Name: Next when you launch the app, the first step is to type in the path. The first screen of the app has a text box with “video\” already filled in. You just need to type in the name of the video with extension ( mp4, 3GP and so on) you want to share and hit next. If you misspell it, you will get an error message. Cross check by visiting the videos folder using the Music + Videos app.
Agree to T&C: Since some of the countries has set video sharing illegal, there is a T&C section where you agree to what you are doing and the app is not responsible for anything.
Share: Next you will get option to share the video over Bluetooth, emails, NFC and Social network if it’s configured over your phone. It’s a similar screen you may have used when sharing videos from camera roll.
That’s it, you are done. If you want to share videos over YouTube, you need to use Nokia’s Video Uploader to get it done.
