SkyManager : Powerful & Metro Optimized Skydrive app for Windows Phone
Skydrive’s official app on Windows Phone is pretty decent at what it does right, from uploading and downloading photographs to sharing them with friends. Still, if you are looking for an app that can provide even more features, today we have SkyManager App as a recommendation of the day.
Why Buy it?
I give you a few reasons why you might want to buy it, followed by the feature list.
- Upload Images in 2048 X 1536 px format to your SkyDrive account, which is impossible with the Official Account or even the inbuilt client.
- Edit Photographs on your SkyDrive account and upload them back again.
- Dedicated Upload Center where you can handle all your files getting uploaded and stop if you do not want to upload any of the images.
The app is from the same developer, JDB Pocketware, who gave us SMS Machine and Appointile.
Other Features :
- Metro-based UI allows you to preview images on the tile itself.
- View count of files for every folder.
- You can pin photographs and folders on your start screen and see a preview of images in that folder.

Suggestion :
There is no way you can share files and folders like the official Skydrive app. So if one has to make people buy this app, sharing is essential and should be implemented.
Option to configure the time for upload to less than 10 minutes or provide a reminder procedure to configure upload over WiFi only and at a particular time.

This app comes in two versions, Free Ad-supported and fewer features and a Paid version, which costs 2.99 USD with complete features. So now, unless you are a heavy Skydrive user, I will suggest you install the trial version and then buy the full version once you are convinced.
