SongArc, the Popular Music Based Game, is now a Universal App for Windows 10
SongArc, is one of the popular gesture based beat games in the Windows Store, and what makes it different is the style that mixes with Music. Players can tap shapes, that reach an arc, and follow the beat. It’s amazingly fun if you love music. The app is now a Universal app for Windows 10 and works across all devices running Windows 10.
The app received a major highlight at the Windows 10 Dev Store to encourage others to get their app on board the Windows 10, and Andras Velvart, SongArc’s CEO and Founder said that Over 90 percent of the game is shared cross-platform, not re-written. This speaks of how powerful the universal platform is now, and why everybody needs to jump on the ship.

He also shared:
The SongArc story begins with Xamarin’s MonoGame cross-platform game engine. While the team created the game first on Windows due to centralized resources and enthusiastic beta testers, Andras says that the cross-platform focus was a priority from Day One. That allowed the team to experiment with the input methods and gestures that became crucial to the gaming experience.
It is also one of the apps that use the Azure Platform. There are over two million downloads and hundreds of thousands of users creating and uploading music every day, the sheets became hard to manage from an admin side.
