Spanish Company Funker Launches New Windows 10 Mobile, W5.5 Pro

There is a sudden spike in number of companies unveiling Windows 10 Mobile devices, though small, but its definitely  a great timing, and I hope it continues. After NU ANS, VAIO, its turn of Spain based smartphone maker, Funker, to launch a new Windows 10 Mobile device W5.5 Pro.

The phone, as the name suggest, comes with a 5,5 inch screen @ 720P, powered by Snapdragon 410 clocked at 1.2 Ghz. (Thankfully no Snapdragon 210). It houses 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage which is kind of minimum now. Those who love to click should know that it comes with a 13 MP rear camera, dual flash with 5 MP selfie shooter in front. Battery capacity is 2600 mAh. If you are looking for a budget phone with big screen, this could be a choice.

Looking at the specs, and rumoured  Lumia 650, this device sounds much better because of the SoC and the display size. I am sure Microsoft is going to downplay the low end Lumia, and will leave it open for OEM.

Interesting to note that if you look closely, the device resembles BLU devices a bit, and its an exact rebranding of Coship Moly X1. So yeah, its an OEM based model. Its a common practice, nothing to worry about. Check out the listing here.
