Spookies : The Haunted version of Flappy Bird on Windows Phone
While the Flappy Bird saga ended sometime ago with hopes of coming in rumors, loads of developers are trying to get back on-board with their own style.
Today we have Spookies, an endless runner game, where you can change the characters to kill some boredom. While the Baracat Bros plan to build the next generation of endless runner games, we took it for a spin.
Game Play:
Keep it pressed to fly up, leave to get down and make sure you don’t get left behind any of the pipes or the woods you need to pass in between. The implementation is bit different here as nothing happens when you touch the pipe but if the scene passes off the pipe and you did not make through, you are ready for a replay.
While passing through the woods, you need to collect eyeballs which is your currency to unlock more characters.That’s the second thing which is different about the game. You can also unlock via IAP.
The game play has a spooky music in the background which reminds of the haunted house movies I have seen. Goes with the them and to get the best effect, play at night with all lights off.
Here is a good thing. Spookies is aimed to be built big and they are building it 100% based on users suggestion. So for example, recently everybody asked for power-ups so they can play longer. That was included in the recent update. 
That said, it’s a nice game, lets me play longer than flappy bird and has a goal to unlock characters without paying, which costs just 0.99 USD
The game is out in Windows Phone Store. There is a user voice forum available for you to suggest new features.
