Spotify comes to Windows Phone 8

Finally Spotify had made it way into Windows Phone 8 ecosystem available in beta but both in Paid and trail mode. The good part for new user is that they can extend the premium for upto 30 days. So give and take, you can enjoy some good music for at least a month.

Now let’s get to the features of the app:

  • You can stream music over WiFI or on mobile network.
  • You can either stream your playlist or make the playlist available as offline. This makes sure you don’t waste your precious mobile data.
  • Playlist Sync in real-time. Any track added from your computer or web will instantly appear on your Windows Phone App. The reverse is also true.
  • You can receive songs from Friends.

Apart from this you can obviously search and play music from the collection and tag all your favourite songs into one special list. Now its quite possible that the app is not available for your region because the service itself is not available for your country. As of now I don’t see it available for India.

Remember this version is different from Windows Phone 7.5 version which is available here Not sure why they planned to come with totally different app than updating this one itself.
