Squids : Not to be Missed Action RPG Game is Free on Windows Phone 8 This Week

While we all love games and spend hundreds of hours playing them, I am sure we all love free games too and this week its Squids; An action RPG game where you control 3 cutely designed squids to their adventure against the black ooze which is a threat to all the squids.

Game Play :

Its a turn based game where you have three characters with their own style of strength and power. Each of them is powered by air bubbles and use it to move, hit the enemies and collect pearls. Moving the squids from one point to another is fun because the way its designed. You need to grab their tentacles and fling them in the direction you want them to go. If there is an enemy between, he is going to get hit but if there is a danger like thorns, its you who is going to get hit.

While the game starts with only three squids, you get to play with seven more squids as the incredible and beautifully narrated game story continues. First you need to uinlock them and then use your pearls to recruit them into your story. You can have a maximum of 4 squids to play at any level.

Power-ups & Upgrades:

Depending on the kind of squid you select it is possible to upgrade them and add power-ups to make them more effective. It was really hard to I imagine that this game would have such an impressive upgrade system. You will have to use the pearls here to level up squids and buy items.

You have four different kind of squids–shooters, scouts, troopers and healers–so make sure to choose and upgrade them widely.

Environments :

The complete battle is under water deep sea so expect all kind of beautiful creates you would have seen either on TV or in real life. Each element is designed to mimic almost the same kind of behavior and mixes with the gameplay well. You will have your chance to battle over Turtle’s back, Ruins of temples, deep waters and so on.
