Stickers, Status & Improved Notifications Viber on Windows Phone 8

Looks like Viber is on the roll again, as the Viber app just got updated on my Windows Phone and it got a lot of improvements and new features, specially on the Sticker. The popular sticker market shows up in their latest update which brings the Windows Phone version inline with other platform. Not only users who love stickers will enjoy the experience on the app, those aren’t into stickers are not left empty handed.

This update being major, has improved notification delivery at par, even though Windows Phone OS has strict policy on it. Most of the users had a complained about it and it should resolve this issue for good.

Here is the list of features rolled out in this update:

Seen status and Last online status can be seen now. This way nobody can hide or lie about the message not being seen.
Right now Viber notification sounds will be used for incoming push notifications. Custom Ringtones probably in future updates.
Too buys for a while ? You will be able to hide notification content.

The quality of photo thumbnails in conversation is better now and with descriptions added to photos, it will look even better.
Improved app speed, making resuming and loading faster.

After this update, its pretty clear that Viber is taking Windows Phone platform very seriously and all their updates are not lined without any though on the market share of each of these platforms.

In the previous updates Viber rolled out unique features like Switching between Mobile and Mobile instantly which was appreciated big time by the users. Most of the users on Windows Phone wanted to Skype to have this feature but Viber made its impression and is continuing to do so.
