Story Remix will be Shipping without the Special Effects in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update

Not sure why Microsoft has to delay everything. Like almost everything. The Story Remix app which Microsoft demoed long back is finally shipping, but it will be shipping without — the special effects —  the primary feature that was demoed. Instead, these features will make a cut in the “Skip Ahead” version of Windows 10, and later become available to all Windows 10 Insiders, but that’s the disappointing story of the day.

Microsoft has already delayed the Windows Timeline Experience, the Cloud Clipboard, and now Story Remix will be half baked into the system.  It seems Windows 10 FCU will be a minor update with all these major features being put on hold because either they have bugs, or they were showcased ahead of its time.

I am guessing that this effects will be rolled out gradually as the app keeps getting the update, but Microsoft has definitely lost a charming point of the

I would agree that Microsoft could have just made a better version of Movie Maker to compete with similar products of Apple, with video editing, and Story Remix feature.  Till then watch out Mehedi special effects where he blows a Windows Phone from Joel Belfiore hands.
