Style Jukebox for Windows gets Major Update; Can Handle Medium and Large Music Collections

Style Jukebox is a cloud-based music player which lets you carry your music anywhere you go. Like what Groove is offering now, the service lets you upload all your music collection and then stream it on any platform, including Windows, iOS, and Android.  In its recent update to Windows App, the application received a major update in upload speed and performance improvements on medium and large music collections. This is only for Desktop App and not Mobile.

The company claims to have tested with a large music collection and managed to increase the average upload speed from 7-8 Mbps to over 40 Mbps on average Internet bandwidth. They tested this in Romania. The app also consumes less memory and processor cycle when it comes to loading songs and images.

What makes this service stand out is the support for no file formats, right from FLAC to M4A – ALAC, AIFF, APE, and WAV. Yes, it’s one of the few players that support the FLAC format.
