Surface Pro 4 goes as Low as Rs. 58,890 in Exchange Offer in India

In order to push the sale of its successful Surface device, Microsoft and Amazon India is now offering an exchange offer which can get you Surface Pro 4 Core M for as low as Rs. 58,890. This includes any laptop or tablet in working condition including Macbook and iPad. However the offer doesn’t include the Type Cover.

Here is how you can avail the offer:

Consumers have to buy a Surface Pro 4 Core M on www.amazon.in and enter the order ID and details of the device they want to exchange on the partner (Reglobe) website. Once the details are verified, consumers will get a notification on the exchange value of the old device as per partner’s evaluation and an additional cash bonus of Rs. 20,000/-

However there is a big catch here. The offer is for Core M processor which means if you mac is powerful than the Surface, the offer could be a big let down, and on top you need to buy the Type Cover which costs around which is another Rs 12,500. You will be able to get Macbook Base Model for the same price.

So who is Microsoft targeting? IMO its only for those who want a Surface device for casual usage, and have an old device sitting at home, and is of no use. Decide wisely.
