Survival-Horror Game “Alien: Isolation” is Out Now for Xbox One
Unless you have been living under the rocks, you should be knowing about the Survival-horror game “Alien: Isolation”. Thie game resurrects the story of the Movie where you play as Ripley, with a sole aim, hide from the alien. Not to miss, you will also have to confront the desperate population.
It is out now for Xbox One.
“Alien: Isolation” takes place 15 years after the events of “Alien,” and Amanda, Ellen Ripley’s daughter, is on a mission to uncover the truth behind her mother’s disappearance. But the journey is filled with challenges, as you scavenge for resources and use your wits to not only succeed but to stay alive.
To what we have heard from the reviews and Garry Napper, the game’s lead designer, it’s going to be scary and repetitive as you would get killed by the Alien now and then. This also means, most of the time you might get into hiding. Make sure to use the iconic motion tracker and keeping looking at the green dot as it gets closer to you.
The game is around 15 hours long, but it can get extended by large margin or just get quicker. Those who are looking forward for weapons will be disappointed. There are none except for you to find few with even less amount of ammunition left.
As per the lead designer, the game is designed such that players need to survive. They will have to use stuff like molotov cocktails, noisemakers, pipe bomb, flare, etc. The whole thing is about exploring the environment, and finding things to build, and then figuring out whether you want to use them or hold them until the Alien arrives.
