Tank Arena : SciFi Unity Based Tank Game Launched for Windows Phone
Looks like we will definitely lose the count on how many Unity based games we have on Windows Phone and this time its turn of a brand new Tank Game on Windows Phone–Tank Arena–a 3d tank game where you battle against the invading Dromedians.
Game Play :
While I cannot comment on complete game as I have just started playing it but after 15 minutes of game play where I am still blasting some turrets over the moon, the control, graphics and overall impression of the game is pretty positive.
You start with a basic Tank which you can move with a swipe or D-Pad, where later works better for fine controls, and practice over Moon and blow some turrets. It’s a basic training program which will come hand as you advance with the level. As you advance, the complexity increases by a bit either in form of new turrets or their count. There are 30 such levels which you need to complete before the advance.
Tank Upgrades:
After completing every level, you can accumulate gold which can be then used to upgrade your tank and its capacity of firing. There are 4 tanks available–Leopard, Challenger, Wolverine and Hell Cat. You also buy guns like Spread, Seeker and Canon to improve on firing. Also there are 15 achievements to unlock and game has 5 original music tracks to keep your going. The game is free to download and play. It comes with IAP to remove ads, buy gold so you can upgrade your tank even faster. Also, the developer has promised to roll in bigger planetary campaigns with new dromedian enemy units while you complete the 30 levels.
