Telescope : Twitter’s Periscope App for Windows Phone (UNOFFICIAL)

Twitter launched a new service, Telescope, a new service that allows you to live stream on Twitter. While the official app is only available for iOS, The awesome Windows Phone developer community has already built an Un-Official App for Windows Phone and sarcastically named it TELESCOPE. Now just that you are excited, let’s get to reality. Nothing disappointing, but as expected, the app is limited right now and only limited to view the broadcasts, but if we all support it, the developer, just by downloading, has plans to make it a full-featured app. Here is the list of features planned:

  • Search for users
  • Edit your settings
  • Profile view!
  • Hearts and Messages!
  • Broadcast.

You will have to sign in using your Twitter account to access the stream of videos being broadcasted on Twitter by iOS users. Twitter has plans for getting the app on Android soon, and since they have an app on Windows Phone as well, I don’t doubt that an official app for Windows Phone will take time, especially since Windows Phone does have the best cameras in the market.
