Thing Sling : Add Extra Grip to your Windows Phone
How many times have you dropped your phone while you were using it with just one hand ? Traveling in a jam-packed bus where getting pushed by somebody standing near you might have made you lose your grip of the phone. How to set it up:
- The first thing is to make sure the phone is clean and your hands aren’t sweaty.
- Use the spirit wipe that comes along with the package to clean of any dust and let it dry.
- Find where do you want to place it. The best is to put it in the middle of the back of your device but if it is way too big and you hold the phone mostly around the bottom part, you may choose to stick it there.
- Next, remove the paper like backing from the thing sling. It will expose the adhesive.
- Place it in the middle with adhesive section facing down. Once done, press it firmly with your thumb on two ends first and then at the middle for 30 seconds.
- I will suggest you to leave it for another 1 hour or even more for the adhesion to get strong.
- Best is to do it at night, so the phone stays untouched.
Quality:

Reusability:
If you are changing your phone and want to reuse it, the best way to remove is pull it upside from one side using the elastic strap. Do it slowly because adhesive is strong. However if you do it in a hurry and just rip it off without a heart, the phone may get a bit of damage. It will come out with leaving any mark and then you can use the replacement adhesive to put it back on any other phone.

I can give this product 20 of 10 for value for money. First, it does not cost much, and second, it saves your phone from accidental falls and damages for which you will have to shell out 100x.

In a couple of days you will notice that there are less scratches on back of your phone because thing sling lifts your phone by couple of inches making sure that it doesn’t touch the surface at all.
Drawback:
When using with Lumia 820, the phone gets locked often when I use my thumb to reach to the end of the screen. This is because the lock button is located on the right and the palm pushes to lock it. So make sure you don’t slide your fingers to the length that the phone touch the palm. Keep some gap between the phone edge and the palm and then there won’t be a problem at all.
