However, the game doesn’t come with Xbox Live integration, still not a universal app and trial mode. So if you are new to Minecraft, the only option right now is to buy. The only reason for all this, could be they were already trying out this from sometime, and they needed to get it out.

Hopefully the next update will make it universal sync, so nobody has to start from scratch. Imagine a resume and switch between games.
