HERE Transit Comes to Nokia Asha Phones

HERE Transit is a cool app from Nokia which makes it easy for you to plan a journey via public transport, giving you access to scheduled departure/arrival times from public transport companies, if available in your region. HERE Transit is available for Windows Phones for quite some time now and it has now released for Nokia Asha phones.  If you use Nokia Asha 500, Asha 501, Asha 502, or Asha 503, head on over to the Nokia Store to download HERE Transit for free.

For most of us using public transport involves an amount of walking and HERE Transit takes this into account by also including walking times.

Apart from this, you’ll also be presented with the walking route on screen so you know precisely which direction to go. This is extremely useful if your destination is unfamiliar to you and you require door-to-door navigation. If your country or region does not have time table routing, HERE Transit will give an estimated time for your journey and this is pretty useful for all users.

HERE Transit for Nokia Asha is only available in Sweden, Israel, Russia, Denmark, Norway, Netherlands, USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Spain, Finland, Hungary and New Zealand.
