Tweet Counter App for Windows Phone

Twitter User? Obsessed with the count? Want to make your 291284 tweets special because it’s your Birthday? TweetCoMinder for Windows Phone got you covered. It is a dead-simple app that keeps track of your Twitter count and reminds you in advance about it, so you never miss it.

After you install the app, the first step is to connect it with your Twitter account. During this step, it gets you :

Current Tweet Count
Next Special Tweet Count, which is the nearest rounded-off number.

And Tweets left.

And that’s the screen that appears every time you launch the app. As I said before, the app is dead simple, but the real beauty is in the app’s settings, which keeps on ticking to remind you. All your data is maintained in the cloud (Azure), which updates your live tiles and reminds you of the special count through notification.

In case you find a difference between tweet count in-app and web different, you can set the Tweet Count gap to adjust accordingly.
Choose when you want to get toast notification of the special count, i.e., 10 tweets ahead or even more. So depending on your tweeting frequency, make sure to set it wisely.

Since it’s difficult to launch the app, you pin the app to the Start screen, keeping refreshing. The app also comes with an ultimate nuke button, which can perform manual refresh count data.

That said, I would have loved it if there was an option to tweet my special count right from the app and also the ability to post the “remaining count” message in my own words. The good news is there is already a couple of features planned, and below is the list:
