Twitter for Windows 10 Finally Arrives as a Universal App
Twitter has rolled out a massive update for its App on Windows 10 Mobile and PC, yes, a universal app, and it looks promising. The UI has been completely revamped and comes with a dark & light theme, which looks beautiful on the Lumia 950 XL. Its solid 1.0 Version is a universal app, and we hope Twitter makes sure to deliver solid updates shortly.
Ok, so enough of the beautiful thing, let’s dig it up a bit. Few things are missing straightforward, and settings are more of a web wrapper. In fact, if some of you think it some form of the advanced wrapper, I won’t deny having the same feeling.

The first thing you would notice is the missing swiping left or right. It’s more like what you have on Android and iOS, which is to tap to access the sections. When you open settings, they access the mobile version of Twitter on the Web. The usual animations are missing when navigating different actions and so on. At some point, I felt that if Twitter actually made the universal app out of their web version using one of those too, Microsoft built aka Web App. Oh, and the Action center In-line reply is also missing.
Nevertheless, the app definitely looks well done, and Twitter now needs to update it constantly to bring all-new features, make it more native, and bring features close to the third-party Twitter apps on the Windows 10 Platform. We seriously have some good ones before which Twitter doesn’t stand a chance.
