Uber comes to Windows Phone 8

Uber is a  transportation network company based in San Francisco, California, that makes mobile apps that connect passengers with drivers of vehicles for hire and ridesharing services. The company arranges pickups in dozens of cities around the world. The company has now launched its official Windows Phone app for the service.

Uber is available in 40 countries and you can request for a ride using the app. Previously, Windows Phone users accessed Uber through the mobile site, but starting today, users can connect through a native app that is optimized for the Windows Phone platform and reflects the complete Uber experience.
