Microsoft Working on “Phone Sign-in” App which Unlocks your Windows 10 PC from Your Mobile
If you ever wished to unlock your Windows 10 PC when you are nearby and windows Windows Hello, then the good news is that Microsoft is working on an app that will do so. The app named “Phone Sign-in” is in internal testing, which Microsoft claims is their first step without Passwords. Well, Hello.

As per the app listing description, once you have paired your Windows 10 Mobile and PC over Bluetooth, all you will need to is tap on the nearby computer, and it will be unlocked. You’d not need any special hardware to unlock, but just the old Bluetooth technology. Microsoft will also roll out support for Microsoft Account, a sign-in solution for browsers and VPN, one-time passcode generation, and MFA approval through notifications.
It reminds me of how Android Wear can actually unlock your phone when your smartwatch is synced with an Android Phone.
Since Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile integration is getting stronger with every build, it only makes sense to have features like this. I want this feature to expand to every Windows 10 device, including Xbox One, Holo lens, and so on.
