Refocus App for Windows Phone ( Not Nokia’s) Lets You Switch Focus between Foregorund and Background
Taking imaging to next step, Nokia has released an app which lets change object of focus in an image. That app will work with Nokia’s Lumia Black firmware update and will be only available for few devices which supports high-resolution–1020 & 1520– best for that situation.
That said both the app and update is yet to hit the market but we found an app which does that but on a very basic level. The app named as Refocus lets you brilliantly change the focus and I found it working well on 1020 but not that great when it comes to Lumia 820. It’s not a surprise and even the app says that it will work with cameras which have huge sensor which in this case is the 1020.

However for Windows Phone which are not going to get Nokia Camera App, can make use this app to change the focus which is manually changed in Nokia Camera App. One of the reviews said that “It is more useful feature is that you can accomplish a focused picture of an extremely close object, which is otherwise not possible with the regular camera app! amazing”
Here is a video demo of the app:
Nokia’s Refocus app uses advanced macro soft mode and it captures all the possible depths when taking a picture. It can find objects and let you set color to just one of the objects while rest are left in black and white mode. Another mode in Nokia;s refocus lets you set everything focus which makes all the objects sharp enough to make it happen.

The app costs 0.99 cents but also comes with a trial mode. You can try it before buying it. In trial mode you can take unlimited pictures but cannot save it on your phone using this app. Also to note that this app will also not work on all windows phone, specially Samsung Ativ S mentioned by the developer.
