Upcoming High End Lumia Phones are Thin & Support Iris Scanner, Smart Cover & Pen
We reported three leaked Lumias yesterday, and the specs were disappointing, specially after Satya Nadella said that Microsoft is planning for high end. While the specs were accurate, the devices has been cancelled already and right now we just know about only two devices which were in rumours, and now confirmed by WindowsCentral again.
The devices are Cityman and Talkman, which are probably going to be named as Lumia 940/950, have high end specs. What is interesting about the devices are that they support Iris Scanner, Smart Cover and Stylus or the digital pen. This is the first time a Lumia is supporting this and its a great news. The devices are going to be US only, where high ends have more demand, and hopefully in future we will see a version of that coming to India.

Interesting to note that Windows Central also reports that they have talked to few of the people using it, and here are some key points. The devices are very thin (7-8mm) , with massive removable battery which is thinnest ever on Windows Phone and looks like a combination of the Lumia 92 and the Lumia 830. Apart from this, the front glass covers the entire handset and there is dedicate camera button as well.
