Upload Multiple Office Docs and PDF to Windows Phone from your PC

Thunder_ at XDA forum has developed a Tool for your PC which will help you copying / uploading document directly into your Office Hub of Windows Phone, this is something many of you would love because till now the only solution was to send it via email or use dropbox like clients.

This tool will let you upload or copy multiple documents like Word, Excel, PPT and PDF document in a go.Also it’s going to support Chinese Book Reader in future.

How to use this tool ?

  • Download the file from here
  • Connect your phone and launch zune. Check if the phone is detected.
  • Next Unzip the file and run the file which is named as BookUploader.exe
  • Next choose Connect to Windows Phone Device, Make sure your phone is unlocked.

For Office Document 

  • On the software, Select Office Tab, Click upload button and select a document.
  • You wont see a progress bar but till you get message  of file upload.

PDF Files :

For PDF Document, Dev says that even though upload works and gets recognized as Adobe Document but when you launch it throws up an error with some permission issues.

For this you need to install PDF reader using XAP i.e. sideload and it will be working fine. Once installed, you will be able to see list of PDF docs you have on your phone and can also delete them if you want.

There is one thing to suggest for the tool and that would be to implement a progress bar and better notification system for users to know when the upload is complete.
