Upload Videos to YouTube from Windows Phone 8.1

Microsoft had released a YouTube app for Windows Phone 8 last year, but it was banned by Google after it failed to meet the guidelines set by Google. So if you are on Windows Phone, then there is no official app to upload videos to YouTube from your phone. “Upload to YouTube” is a new app which is available for Windows Phone 8.1 devices and allows users to easily upload their videos to YouTube from the phone’s camera roll.

The app has a very simple interface where in you can select the video from the camera roll and then enter the title, description and tags along with categories and upload the video on to YouTube. You need to sign in with your Google account you use for YouTube. The app works in the background and shows the progress.

Recently Microsoft had released a video editor called Video Tuner, so if you want to edit videos before you upload them, then you can download the Video Tuner.

Overall, the app is pretty good to upload videos and works under the lock screen as well. It is free of cost, but features ads.
