VAIO’s Phone Biz : Windows 10 Mobile with Beautiful Aluminium Body & Continuum Support
We did talk about the sudden spike about third party OEM getting Windows 10 Mobile devices, and we mentioned about VAIO getting one, the Japanese Manufacturer has unveiled its first Windows device, and it comes with decent hardware.
First, the phone is metal, made of aluminium, which is an attraction point. The metal body packs in a 5.5 inch 1080P display, and is powered way Octacore Snapdragon 617 processor clocked at 1.5 Ghz. VAIO claims that display is tempered glass which will make sure that it can survive falls.
When it comes to muscle power, it has 3GB RAM for heavy apps, and 16 GB internal storage which an be expanded to another 64 GB with microSD slot. Those who love to click, it includes a 13MP rear shooter with LED flash, and a 5 MP front camera.. When it comes to battery, it has a 2800 mAh battery pack. One thing that will interest some of you is that the phone supports Continuum.

If you see the images, the screen’s bottom bezel is way too large, and missing fingerprint sensor, and USB Type C might disappoint a couple because it is a premium phone, and business consumers have a taste for them.
The phone will sell Unlcoked in Japan. So how much does the phone costs? It costs $424, which is decent for its hardware, and if launched outside Japan like in India, and Europe will draw attention.
VAIO is putting this phone forward as a business phone, and their official press images talk about Microsoft Apps, Services, and how it works well with the Windows 10 Ecosystem. This approach definitely sounds great, and VAIO been selling Windows Laptops, and it completely makes sense for the company to portrait this way
