Video: Lumia 435 Unboxing & First Impression

It’s an exciting day already with Windows 10 Preview, and to add to that, we bring you the Lumia 435 unboxing of retail unit. Microsoft recently announced the availability of the phone, which is going to its future super budget Windows Phone. Check out the video below, followed by my first impression and photo gallery.

First Impression:

The device is a mix of Asha & Nokia X which refreshed the design pattern Microsoft / Nokia been following from sometime. It looks small exactly like the Asha and its thick. However the rear looks like Nokia X design with tapering curves towards the center. This will find its appeal to consumers who look for a compact design.

The display is decent enough for the hardware it houses. The resolution is 800 X 480 with 233 PPI on a LCD panel. The PPI made sure that sharpness is good enough to please a general consumer and its better than the Lumia 530. The phone comes with 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage and Snapdragon 200 DUAL Core processor.

When setting up the phone, there are two things that will grab your attention. It takes more time to boot, and the first app installation took over 5 minutes which is huge compared to usual 2-3 minutes time.

The phone come with automatic brightness control, which works out fine but we will get to know more in our detail review.

When it comes to packaging, Microsoft made a quick shift from flat box to regular Nokia Box, but its made of think paper instead of thick board which Nokia used to follow. The box has Earphones, Charger, battery and the phone. There is no separate data cable or USB cable along with it.

If you are happy with the first impression, go ahead & buy Microsoft Lumia 435 from Flipkart.com for Rs 5821.
