VLC been in making from a very log, and when it came time to get hands dirty, the app was rejected from Windows Phone store for some reason. While the team is still working on it to figure out what went wrong, they rolled in a preview video for everybody to consume. If nothing else, at least this will keep the excitement up. The app has till some bugs left out and do not take this as a final version of what is going to come.

Developer Thomas Nigro has posted a four-minute video preview showing how the app works on Windows Phone.

The app has been demoed on emulator, with a video file being played with portrait mode. VLC is very popular among users mostly because it does the job with a minimum of fuss. Its lt can also stream on desktop, and does not consume resourced like Windows Media Player and iTunes. .MKV files is also one of the biggest reason why VLC is so popular, but it may change soon with .MKV file native support in Windows 10.
