Wagon Shootout for Windows Phone

We talked about the game 60 Seconds where all you need was wicked tapping skills and response to shoot out bandits, now it’s time to find out how good you are with keyboard in Wagon Shootout.

Game Play:

This fast shooting game will push you to the edge for reading and then typing it as fast as possible so you can shoot the bandits coming towards you while you are running away on a horse carriage.

While 60 seconds was only tap, shoot and kill whatever in one minute, Wagon Shootout is completely different. Looking at it, 60 seconds seems to be sub idea of the bigger picture. In this game:

You have Life Limit so you play till you are dead.
The zombies, dinosaurs, rhinos coming towards you have a random word written on top of them which becomes visible as they get closer to you.
Instead of taps, you have a big-ass keyboard where you need to type the word written on them. When you complete they die and you make coins.

That said, to really get the game, you should not only be good at typing but also on recognizing the words correctly before you start typing. While some of the words are repeated and you would be used to them as you play more and more, the challenge of interpreting the random words and then typing is fun and one of the craziest thing to do.

Editors Note:

If the words are repeated, it means it doesn’t use an entire dictionary. A simple tweak to the algorithm might help the game. It can have a list of 1000+ words or 10000+ if it ever aims to be educational. As game progresses, the difficulty (length of word) increases with maybe a minor increase in the wagon speed. And to avoid repeats, it can move the word to a different array once it has been played on screen

Controls / Guns:

Apart from the keyboard, you have different kinds of guns showing up which can be acquired by blowing up special blocks which come in the way. They are special because they change the way you shoot. So if it’s a sniper you get only on alphabet per bandit but if it’s a machine gun, you get multiple alphabets but all are same.

Apart from the guns you also have two powers. One that can speed your wagon and second which does multiple shoot. The later is impressive and a great boon when you are surrounded by a lot of enemies. It slows the time and lets you mark each of them with single alphabet which you need to type. Next it kills them all.

The game has impressive graphics, loads of IAP, Guns and well done background music which will never let you get bored. I have played it since yesterday and love every aspect of it. An amazing game to kill loads of time and its free. The game has adverts which can be removed if you purchase anything from the marketplace.
