Watch Mars Landing on Xbox & try the Virtual Curiosity Lander with Kinect
In around 3 hours Nasa’s Rover, Curiosity, will make its attempt to land over Mars, the red planet and while everybody is excited to watch it, Nasa is bit worried over its survival into the 7 minute entry phase because of the atmospheric conditions. The aim of the rover is find if water was ever there and conduct experiments for next 2 years.
As Major Nelson shared, Keep an eye on the dashboard for a screen which says Mars Rover section of your Xbox 360 dashboard which will not only have quiz, incredible details on the engineering achievement but also will show you the landing live from Nasa using their Live Television.
While you wait for next couple of hours, I will seriously suggest you to try out the Mars Rover Landing Game (Kinect Enabled) which was released sometimes back and its really really tricky. You can get a feel on how tricky it is to survive the landing.
