WhatsApp Beta Adds Call & Chat Counter for Windows Phone

We broke the news of WhatsApp finally has started Call feature in the Windows Phone app, and now we have more screenshots of more features being added to the UI. They are not ground breaking features, but basics only, but they do tell us that the we are one step closer to the final release of  Voice Calls over WhatsApp.

  • The calls pivot now lets you delete any or all the call records.
  • A notification for how many calls and messages need your attention. You get separate count for calls and messages.

We will keep you posted on what is rolled out new, but seems the calling is still not very stable as per beta testers. So I guess we need to wait a bit more for final release.
