WhatsApp for Windows Phone to Roll Out MP3 Sharing in Future Update
Looks like WhatsApp finally decided to roll out MP3 File sharing support for its Windows Phone version. Currently being tested in their beta version, it now allows you to pickup and send MP3 files saved on your phone using the attach icon. Now few other things have changed as well. When you tap on the attach icon, you have two new options. Audio and Album.
Audio option opens a file picker which lets you browse through core file system in Windows Phone to let you pick an MP3 file from wherever you want. Once share, it can be removed or forwarded again, but cannot be saved as of now.

When it comes to Album, it is a clubbed option for Video and Photo sharing. When you choose this, you can either select a video or an image or with to Album view to select from different folders in your phone which have video and images.
Other Changes:
- WhatsApp now have the same colour as the Theme colour of the Phone you select, instead of the branded green.
- Multi Select Chats to delete and archive it.
- Option to turn off Read Receipts.
That said, we are still waiting for WhatsApp to roll out the Call feature that have been already rolled out to iOS and Android. Quite an important feature which could help you call your friends if you are running low on balance or if you have great WiFi connection.
