WhatsApp could be Working on a Desktop App for Windows 10 & Mac

After WhatsApp introduced WhatsApp Web, a feature that lets you access Whatsapp on your PC, the demand for having a proper desktop app had always been high. Many who work from PC and constantly need to use their phone for using WhatsApp can only tell how useful the web version had been.

A new rumor has surfaced, which points to a Desktop version of WhatsApp for Windows 10. Leaked by the WABetaInfo account on Twitter, the documents contain information on the upcoming build where the download buttons are included for both PC and MAC.

It is actually easy to build a desktop version or a Universal version of Windows 10 if Whatsapp gets to it. They already have a Windows version, which needs to convert into a Universal version. The only thing WhatsApp needs is to quit Silverlight.

We don’t know when this will be released or if it will be released, but if you want a close to perfect Windows 10 App for Whatsapp, you need to try WhatsAppWrapp. This is a Windows 10 App, and is basically a wrapper on the web version but integrates notifications into Action Center.
