Windows 10 ARM to get Software Update the same day as other version of Windows 10

When you have multiple versions of Windows, it is not an easy job to keep all of them updated, but Microsoft has done this for over years. When Microsoft announced Windows 10 on ARM i.e. Windows 10 version which will run on chips used on Mobile, I was pretty much doubtful on how Microsoft will maintain this version. Windows 10 ARM64 files have different SKUs including separate files for Windows 10 Pro, Home, Enterprise, etc. However, a statement from Microsoft’s Pete Bernard today cleared this.

Reported by Computerbase.de, Bernard revealed that Windows 10 ARM devices will get the software updates in the same way like all versions of Windows 10. So all updates, patches will be rolled out similarly. This is important if Windows 10 ARM is going to power some critical hardware, consumers don’t want to be left out like Windows 10 Mobile.

Microsoft and Qualcomm announced Windows 10 ARM devices are all set to come in 4th Quarter this year. We should see devices pretty soon now, and know how these always-connected devices shape up the future. OEMs have already started testing this version and keeping in mind its AMR, we expect OEMs to come out with super powerful long-lasting hardware to showcase how good it can be.

Microsoft is also reportedly working on Windows 10 ARM  powered Foldable device.
