Finally, we have an official date for Windows 10 Creators Update and its April 11th, yeah it’s not 1st of April, its 11th of April so stay cool! It was only yesterday, we shared about the availability using the ISO and the Upgrade Assistant Tool. The update is just not available for PC, it is available for Xbox One, Surface Hub, and Windows 10 Mobile (Soon).
The major highlight of the Creators Update includes 3D for Everyone and Enabling Mixed Reality, Game Broadcasting with Beam, better Microsoft Edge experience, and additional Security and Privacy Protections.
One of the major updates is the Xbox, PC and Beam integration. IMO I think its bigger than 3D which not only make sure Xbox gamers have the native streaming platform, but it also gets to the PC games enabling them with streaming without the need for additional hardware or software involved.
We will be coming up with full details on what is new with Creators Update today. Stay tuned.
So how does one gets the Creators Update like right now? The safest way is to subscribe to Windows Insiders Program and stay on the slowest ring which is also the most stable. The other ways are to download the assistant or the ISO.
Microsoft has also officially expanded the market for their Surface lineup which includes Austria, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom and will be available for purchase on April 20th.
