Windows 10 Creators Update will probably arrive earlier than expected

It was quiet clear that Microsoft was planning to release the Windows 10 Creators Update sometime in April. Also, according to the sources the update would have got the version number 1704, which is in the format of YY/MM. However, it looks like the version number might change, as the Windows 10 Creators Update might arrive in March. Hence, the version number 1703.

Microsoft’s Feb. 24 blog post lists all the included fixes and known issues for the two test builds.

This is due to the hard work of the Windows Insiders Team, that the Windows 10 Creators Update reached the state where it could be released earlier than expected, which you know, hardly happens. As a matter of fact, Microsoft also removed the Windows Insider watermark from the latest Insider Preview build, this surely indicates that the update is ready to go live. Another reason which suggests us that the Creators Update is ready is that Microsoft has already started working for Redstone 3.

We’re not sure why Microsoft is releasing the update a month early, but as long as it’s not a bad news, I don’t think we should be thinking about it much, but instead should be happy that Microsoft is really working hard. However, as reports claim, Microsoft has removed the most exciting “MyPeople” feature from the Creators Update, which we were all really looking forward too.

As we say, To gain something we have to lose something, this applies perfectly on the removal of MyPeople to get the Creators Update earlier. But no worries, Creators Update will bring in a lot of new features for Windows 10 like Dynamic Lock, Mixed Reality, Game Sync, Game Mode, 3D everywhere, a whole new & better Microsoft Edge, Themes and a lot more.

As we know, this is not an official statement from Microsoft. So, the month of release might change based on what’s happening inside the company. However, rejoice because the Windows 10 Creators Update will bring a lot of new features and improvements and will also be free to existing Windows 10 users. (Yay!)
