Windows 10 Mobile to Finally get “Associated Apps for Websites” Feature
Windows 10 Mobile is finally getting one of the most important feature for any mobile users. Associated Websites for Apps. This feature basically lets you open links into their respective apps. So if you have an email which has a link to Twitter conversation, this feature will let you open the link directly into the twitter app you use.
It is pretty obvious that this feature needs to be implemented from within the apps, as most of the websites like Facebook, Twitter etc support it through the API.

Russian Windows Phone website, Onetile.ru, has cited this feature in one of the internal builds of Windows 10 Mobile, not known till now, which is available as a settings in Windows 10 Mobile. Using this feature you will be able to set the app you use. In Android, I have seen that a default prompt show up reflecting apps which support this. You can set it to a default or leave it as a popup that lets you choose. This option is pretty much baked into the system. While I am not sure if its the same way, but I do expect something similar.
Since Windows 10 PC and Mobile share the same core, I expect this feature to make its way to PC as well. The necessity could be less, since apps help lowering bandwidth consumption compared to PC experience where bandwidth is not a big concern.
