Windows Phone 8.1 Notification Center Leaked Again; Named as Action Center

Leaks start rolling with maximum potential as the time of release or announcement comes closer. In a recent leak of a screenshot of Windows Phone 8.1, we have some more information on the notification centre which is named as ACTION Center–A central location to surface missed notifications.

Windows Phone 8 Action Center Leaked

Look at the screenshot of the image above, the notification center will have API powerful enough for apps to add notifications silently without distracting a user.

Like in any mobile os, the notification center can be pulled down by sliding from top to bottom. While doing this, you could see the status and ability to enable / disable connections such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Airplane Mode. The last one this is interesting which points to the Driver Mode.

Right below that, you have a list of all notifications sorted on per app basis. In the image above you have notifications from Messaging and Facebook. All this can be cleared instantly. In case you need to get access to more settings, choose all setting and it will take you to settings section.

Few more things which are almost invisible:

  • Battery percentage shows up when you pull the notification bar.
  • Date is right next to it and under the clock.

This leak showed up at winphollowers who seems to have access to a confidential slide which included this. I wont be surprised if they post up few more details soon.
