Last week Microsoft had officially announced the Update 1 for Windows Phone 8.1 devices and it is now being rolled out for phones with Windows Phone 8.1 Developer preview. This update has one main feature that it will bring Cortana to few other markets like India and China. Apart from this, you can now organize your apps into folders on your Start screen. Live Folders as it is called is simple to create as well, just drag a tile over another tile and then name the folder.
With the new update, the company has also added the ability to select multiple SMS messages for deletion and forwarding, making it easier to manage your text messages.
The update is now being rolled out for all devices which have the Windows Phone 8.1 developer preview. In case you are not on developer preview, you can still get it by following this process. So have you updated your phone to latest Update 1, what are your thoughts? Share in comments.
We will have all the details on the new features coming soon, so stay tuned.
