Wolfram Alpha Launches Bunch of Mathematical Course Assistant app for Windows Phone
Woldfram, the online service which answers queries direct by computing the answers from sources, mostly direct answers, has quietly launched a bunch of Course Assistant app for Windows Phone. All these apps are powered by the WolframAlpha computational knowledge engine and is created by Wolfram Research, makers of Mathematica—the world’s leading software system for mathematical research and education. All the apps are paid apps without an option to try.
The apps are:

- Pre-Algebra Course Assistant ($1.99)
- Precalculus Course Assistant ($1.99)
- Linear Algebra Course Assistant ( $4.99)
- Calculus Course Assistant ($2.99)
- Algebra Course Assistant ($1.99)
- Multivariable Calculus Course Assistant ($4.99)
These apps will let you solve an equation or a system of equations, calculate the GCD and LCM of two numbers, plot basic, parametric, or polar plots of the function(s) of your choice and so on. This could be little dangerous for those looking for just direct answers than explanation, but thanks that its paid and nobody gets it easy unless he or she is serious about it. A great tool for those who want to cross check on things.
