Xbox Club will have “Transfer Club Ownership” Option in Future Updates

Like All Clubs, Groups, and Pages on the internet, seems like recently introduced “Xbox Club” will have “Transfer Ownership” option as well in future updates.  The option is not available right now on Xbox One, but it is available in Xbox Beta app but is greyed out i.e. You cannot use as of now.  Along with this option you also have option to delete, which is greyed out as well.

Transfer Club Ownership:

While I am not sure how exactly it will work, but IMO it will allow you to transfer it to another user by searching their gamertag. The process should be simple, but we will only get to know when it comes alive.

This is huge if one can create a huge following, and planning to sell it to someone or useful when administration of existing club changes, and new owner is required.

Delete Existing Club:

When Xbox Club was rolled out first the option to delete was missing, but seems the recent update has enabled the option to delete. You can delete your existing private, hidden or public club by going to  Club > Manage > Ownership > Choose Delete.

I noticed that once deleted, anybody will be able to reclaim the Club Name. I guess recycling of Club Tags are instant. If that is so, its a good move. Xbox team recently announced recycling of gamertags that were left unused.
