Xbox One Controller to Ship with Oculus Rift; Xbox to PC Game Streaming will be Supported

 

Microsoft us patterning with Oculus to ship an Xbox One controller with every Oculus Rift Virtual Reality headset. While the company is still working on its VR technology, HoloLens, with this the expansion of Xbox One and Windows 10 Gaming will help it rather expand. The new Microsoft wants to have their presence in all the platforms.

Xbox One Oculus RIFT Combo

This combo will start shipping in early 2016, and the controller that will be included in the pack will be the recently announced Xbox One controler with the new audio jack. At Oculus’s E3 press event today,  Xbox chief Phil Spencer said:

We believe we’ll be able to create state of the art virtual reality experiences with the Oculus Rift on top of Windows,

Microsoft recently showcased a Wireless USB adapter for Windows 10 using which you will be able to play Xbox One games right on your PC when needed. This adapter is what you will need to buy when you get your RIFT + Xbox One controller combo. While Microsoft has not commented on which game are coming out to support Oculus Rift, the future of gaming in your living room is going to be really different.
