Xbox One Gold Features You Need to Pay for
Xbox One has never been out of controversy right from when it was announced till the 24hrs check was taken off. One of the many details missing about the Xbox One features was the pricing and today we get to know what Gold Members get when they pay for and what if they don’t.
Listed here is the difference between the Xbox 360 and Xbox One Gold membership which shows what most of you may miss. Ultimately if you are moving to Xbox One, would you be able to enjoy as much without Gold membership? The answer is a plain No.
Paid Features or Features only open to Xbox One Gold Members:
- Skype
- NFL
- Smart Match
- One Guide
- Game DVR

I am not justifying here but this is bit disappointing. I do understand that Smart Watch & Game DVR go hand in hand where one is for multiplayer and the other is for recording the gameplays. However, One Guide being exclusive only for Xbox One Gold Members is not justified.
Microsoft has been talking about integration of TV and Xbox as one platform but making it gold exclusive is like giving you the plate but not letting you eat. Xbox Live Gold on Xbox One will cost you 60$ per year if you choose to pay 5$ monthly.
I really wish Microsoft should have opened up Skype for all the members because Skype is something which is not exclusive any more and most of us use it on desktop or phone.
