Xbox One S Available on Pre-Order in India at Amazon for Rs 29,999
In a much-expected mode, Microsoft has now started taking pre-orders for Xbox One S, the second iteration of Xbox One, in India. The item will go on sale/shipping starting October 10. There are two variations available in terms of storage– 500 GB model and I TB model–and its available in White.
Amazon is running promotional offer right now, so if you Pre-order Xbox One S console, you will get Gears of War 4 and Xbox One Battlefield 1 free. This will be in form of downloadable codes and will be sent over email before 19-Oct, 2017. Offer valid until 11:59 PM 09-Oct, 2017.
That said, the bundle that’s Amazon India is selling right now is Xbox One S Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels Bundle. You will need to pay Rs 29,999 when you buy the 500 GB model, but if you choose to buy 1 TB model, you get it at 31,999. Yup, there’s a difference of mere Rs 2000, but then it’s under promotion else the usual price of the 1TB model is Rs 34,999.
Recently we noticed that Xbox One original model was disappearing from the market, and it only made sense as Xbox One X was introduced, and Xbox One S is much better in many terms compared to Xbox One.

Pricing
In terms of pricing, It is more sensible pricing compared to the launch pricing of Xbox One. When Amazon launched Xbox One, on 23rd September, it was Rs 39,990 and Xbox One with Kinect at Rs 45,990. There was only 500 GB model available then.
Xbox One is priced at Rs 29,999 which is Rs 10,000 less than Xbox One model, and if you buy the 1 TB model now, you can get it Rs 31,999.
That said, Xbox One S price was slashed in the US when Xbox One X was announced, and hence what you see in India is the drop-price.
