Xbox One Smartglass Beta App Now Lets You Highlight Best Game Clips & Achievements

Xbox One Smartglass Beta is one app you should be using if you using an Xbox One. There are tons of features which not only lets you manage your game profile but also lets you control Xbox One, specially when in need of typing. Now there are two version of the app floating around, one of which is beta.

A recent update to the beta brings in some useful features. Here is the list:

  • Highlight best game clips and achievements. This is better than putting out random achievements on your profile
  • See which friends play a game in game details. This is already available on Xbox One and its here now.
  • Location and Bio added to the profiles. Now find out when your fiends live right away, without asking.
  • Shop for Apps, Games with Gold & Deals with Gold in the Store
  • Improved UI for activity feed comments

Installing games right from the smart glass, specially for the gold deal is my favourite of all. However they are not native and use a bit of web experience there, if I am not wrong. The highlighting part is still not clear to me, and I am still trying to figure how to do that, specially the clips.
