At the BUILD conference it was announced that Windows Phone will have new OEMs and there were a handful of OEMs from India including Micromax, Karbonn, Xolo and more. Recently Micromax had launched its two Windows Phones including Canvas Win W121 and Canvas Win W092. Now Xolo has announced its first Windows Phone device, the Xolo Win Q900s.
The phone comes with impressive specs for the price point and has a 4.7-inch HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with Adreno 302 GPU. The phone also comes with a 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera.
The phone also comes with dual SIM support and will compete with Lumia 630 and Canvas Win W121 from Micromax. The phone has 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory and a 1800mAh battery.
What ins interesting about the phone is that its pretty light as weights only 100 gms. The glass used for the screen is Scratch Resistant Dragon Trail Glass while the IPS display is 312 PPI and is built using one single piece of glass.
The phone supports all the sensors including Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor and Magnetometer.
Special Note: Those buttons seriously look funny. Seems like vendors are now allowed to change them as well.
