Yezz Announces its First Windows Phone–Billy
Windows Phone is now open to more OEMs. Yezz, Miami, US based company has announced their first Windows Phone—Billy—which is going to cost less, making it an entry level smartphone and in competition to Lumia 525 and the 520.
If you haven’t heard of the company before, we wont blame you. This company had been pulling out few Android phones out of the sleeve and not taking their chances for Windows Phone.

What we don’t know about the phone are details on memory and storage space. Though it’s expected to carry a minimum of 512 MB RAM and 4GB of storage.
They are launching two versions of Billy, one with a 4.7 inch screen size while the other with 4.0 screen size. The later is the cheaper version as it compromises at lot of places. It will have an OGS screen, 8MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera with quad core processor.
These devices will be available from May and June period and we will get to know about it on Amazon.
That said, I am expecting a similar trend from Indian manufacturers like Lava and Xolo in coming months. They are pretty strong on low end phones and with Nokia merged into MS, we would see them working out on new phones. What will matter is if they can produce the same quality.
