Zopnow app for Windows Phone

ZopNow, a Bangalore based online grocery shop, whose sole aim is to deliver grocery items, right from staples, beverages, spices, edible oil, cleaning utilities to baby products, in less than 3 hours or 3 Hour pre-defined delivery slots, has launched their app for Windows Phone. Since this is a local merchant, the app is useful for people living in Bangalore, precisely in South and East Bangalore.

This is yet another positive signal that even mid ranged retailers are not getting interested in Windows Phone and Zop Now is probably one of the earliest ones to take initiative.

Features of ZopNow App:

Use the online account in the app.
Search by Category
Create offline shopping list.
Details of each product along with price and quick action to add it to shopping cart.

That said, shopping card is integrated in the app. You have option to choose payment type, delivery date, address choice, time of delivery and so on.
The app can be used both in portrait and landscape mode.

As soon as you launch the app, you will see a list of product categories and search ready to use right away but to use anything you need use your account. You should be able to sign up or use existing account to login. They have a dedicated help page if want to learn how to use the app.

It’s good to see that the app instead of being ported from Android, is built as native app which gives a better experience to Windows Phone users. The only bug which I see as of now is the back button implementation needs to be addressed.
